The AstroDome Planetarium usually travels in and around Calgary, but it often ventures to locations that are further away. The AstroDome has been to many towns and cities throughout Southern and Central Alberta and has even been to Northern Alberta a few times. During the 2022 - 2023 school year, the AstroDome will be visiting schools in Edmonton for the first time!
The AstroDome Planetarium has had many multi-day road trips to various locations in Southern Alberta and Central Alberta. These road trips allow each school to save money on the travel expenses, compared to an exclusive one-day trip, because the overall travel cost is shared by all the participating schools.
